Create an Evidence Item

Introduction

The user can create an Evidence Item. Evidence can be linked to one or more Controls for the Continuous Compliance cycle.

Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Navigate to the Evidence page

  2. Click the “Create” button on the data grid

  3. There are two options:

    1. Use a pre-existing Evidence Template to create the Evidence

    2. Input a name, the current status, and the Frequency of the Evidence

  4. Click the “Submit” button

Additional Information:

  • Evidence can be duplicated by using the “Duplication” option of the right-click menu in lists. All details are copied with an Evidence except Evidence Activity and Documents

Introduction

A User can duplicate items by using the select buttons on data grids throughout the Platform. Certain details, connections, and sub-items will be copied as well, depending on what is duplicated.

Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Navigate to the data grid where the object to be duplicated is located (e.g. Vendor Data grid, Evidence Data Grid, etc.)

  2. Use the select button in the option menu

  3. Check the box(es) of items you want to duplicate

  4. Use the Duplicate button in the option menu

  5. Click the “Submit” when the confirmation modal appears
