Automatic Evidence Gathering

Introduction

The core of the Continuous Compliance module is the continuous Evidence gathering from Point of Contacts. With the flip of a switch, the assigned Point of Contact(s) will be automatically alerted via email that they must upload Evidence. The whole process is linked to automatically create and update objects in the Action Center.

Step-by-Step Guide

Prerequisite: Set up Continuous Compliance for an Organization [Set up Continuous Compliance]

1. Create an Evidence Item

2. Set a frequency

3. Assign one or multiple point of contact(s)

4. Enable Automated Evidence Gathering

5. [Automated] Based on the Frequency Evidence status will automatically change to ‘Expiring Soon’

6. [Automated] An Observation and Recommendation get generated for the Evidence

7. [Automated] An Action Item gets generated for Each Point of Contact assigned to the Evidence

  • [Automated] Each Action Item sends a notification email with a landing page link

8. Go to Evidence Response landing page

9. Respond to the Evidence (choose a response type)

10. [Automated] After response is submitted, Action Item gets marked as complete

11. [Automated] After response is submitted, Evidence gets marked as ‘pending validation’
