Create a Control
Introduction
The user can create a new Control based on a Control Framework. A Control can have associated Evidence.
Step-by-Step Guide
Navigate to the Controls menu under Compliance
Click the “Create” button in the Controls data grid
Select a Control Framework
Fill in the text fields with its unique statement number and declarative statement
Select it’s initial status (in place or not) and whether it will be included in compliance calculations with the “Disabled Status” option
Click the “Submit” button.

Additional Information:
Controls can be duplicated by using the “Duplicate” option from the right-click menu in a list. Copied Controls only retain Evidence linking
