Add or Remove Permissions from a Role

Introduction

Roles permissions are broken down to specific resources, where the abilities to Create, Read, Update, and Delete these resources are individually changed. Not all resources have all four options.

Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Navigate to the “Role Management” page under Organization details.

  2. Click on the details of an existing Role.

  3. Under the “Role Configuration” panel, each module can be enabled or disabled with the corresponding switch attached to it.

  4. Clicking on a module displays every resource with permissions that can be edited.

  5. The following four options can exist for each resource:

    1. Create: whether a user can create a new instance of this resource

    2. Read: whether a user can see this resource anywhere in the Platform

    3. Update: whether a user can change the details of an existing resource

    4. Delete: whether a user can delete that resource

  6. After applying desired changes, click the “Save Changes” button at the top of the panel.

  7. Changes can be reset by clicking the “Cancel” button.
