Approve a Policy Version

Introduction

A User may ‘Approve’ a Policy Version.

This sets the Status to APPROVED.

This also sets previously APPROVED versions to OLD.

The most current APPROVED version is the default version.

Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Navigate to the “Policies” page

  2. Open the details for a Policy

  3. In the upper right corner, click on the “Versions” button

  4. In the dropdown, click on any of the Yellow DRAFT Policy Versions

  5. With a DRAFT selected, click on the red “Approve Policy Version” button

  6. In the “Approved By” field, type in the name of whoever approved this.

  7. Set the Approval Date (defaults to the current date)

  8. Click the “Submit” button
