Link a Vendor Control to a Risk Sub-Control

Introduction

A User can link a Vendor Control and Risk Sub-Control. When the Vendor Control is set to in place and audited in a Vendor Review, it increases the Implementation rating of the linked Risk Sub-Control. The controls can be linked through the Risk module and the Vendor module.

Step-by-Step Guide

Link through the Risk module

1. Navigate to the Controls menu

2. Open up a category, followed by the details of a Sub-Control

3. In the General Information section, find the “Vendor Sub Control” field

4. Click the edit button

5. Select a Vendor Control Category

6. Create or select a Vendor Control

7. After the modal closes, click the “Submit” button

Link through the Vendor module

1. Navigate to the Controls menu

2. Open up a Vendor Control Category

3. Open the details of a Sub Control

4. Find the Risk Control Field

5. Click the edit button

6. Select a Risk Control Category

7. Create or select a Risk Sub-Control

8. Click the “Submit” button
